A thoroughly enjoyable and informative morning. The children were so engaged in all the activities and really got a lot out of the workshop, thank you

This was a thoroughly engaging session which the children absolutely loved. They found it fascinating and the practical "hands on" approach is suitable for both Year 5 & Year 6 classes involved in today's session's.

The afternoon session with Y6 was a fantastic interactive session which really involved all the children. The delivery was spot on in terms of the level it was pitched at and the content and Jacqui really did grab and maintain the children's attention throughout the afternoon. It is a shame that we were limited to around two hours as I'm sure it could have gone on for even longer! The children all really enjoyed it!
Children's quotes: "Wonderful!" "Really interesting!" "I want to do that for a job!" "The key ring is great!" "I'm going to ask if I can watch CSI New York!"

This activity was part of a week of science activities. The children and staff all thoroughly enjoyed it especially the handprints and fingerprint activities. The amount they took in was amazing as shown by recall in the afternoon. Couldn't stop them asking questions and talking about it. Thanks for a super workshop. E-Safety DVD thought making even for adults.

The children, parents and teaching staff really enjoyed the morning and will be building on the work covered by using the topics covered in other areas. The resources were excellent and the delivery was lively with great pace, high expectations and pitched at the correct level.

Leadenham Primary School, Leadenham, Lincolnshire
The presentation was pitched to engage the children from the start. The activities were delivered well to manage the range of abilities and behaviours within the group, with little input from the school staff. The discussion on cyber safety was very effective, provoking considered and honest discussion from the children about the potential risks of the internet.

All the children thoroughly enjoyed the session - more able commented on how it had extended their knowledge. Most children thought they had to listen a little too long. All children loved the finger printing session. The drama was a fantastic introduction to the session maybe in future this could be extended so practical way to get more of the class involved i.e. have trays of fake blood etc so volunteers could take swabs or have items of clothing for them to put into bags - just ideas. A couple of the parents have come in and said it must have been wonderful as their child did nothing but talk about it that evening. Overall fabulous - thank you very much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our forensic science day the children are still talking about it (and the parents too)! My only recommendation would be to make it into a full day's experience as we ran out of time to develop some of the ideas more fully. I understand that this would mean that it would cost more, but an option of either a half or a full day would mean that schools could choose. My class and I would have loved to have continued into the afternoon session and maybe had a go at footprints with talc or flour. Many, many thanks for a VERY enjoyable morning.

The children really enjoyed the session. At some schools the Y6 science curriculum can be reduced to little more than a paper based revision exercise so the forensic Masterclass was a really good way of getting the children to use science in a practical situation: CSI-Grantham not quite the same as Miami but the principle is the same! If it had been a whole day they could have spent more time doing the fibre test and foot prints, otherwise great. Thank you.

The session was fantastic and was a great lead up to our murder mystery day, which followed. The hands on nature of the session meant that the children loved the session and the key ring was a super end to the session - giving the children a memory hook which would remind them to tell their parents all about it.

William Alvey Primary School, Sleaford, Lincolnshire
The workshop was well matched to the pupil's ages. There was a good variety of practical, discussion and listening time. Fantastic way to develop ideas for Literacy, Numeracy, PSHE and many more and we are going to develop our community police link because of this workshop. All resources were provided and were set up prior to the commencement. I would highly recommend this activity to all Primary Schools. Money well worth spending! Thank you once again Jacqui.

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by our Year 5s and 6s. The activities really did capture their imagination and helped them to think analytically. The pupils really didn't think they were learning! Thank you, Jacqui, for a really well-organised day.

The children really enjoyed the afternoon. I had parents coming in saying how much the children had enjoyed the session and how enthused they were when they got home. I even had a couple of children say that they fancied getting into forensics as a career. Many of them expressed a wish that the session had been longer and that they could have had greater time for more hands on activities as they really enjoyed the hand and finger printing. The key rings as a keepsake was an inspired idea.
